Who we are ...
Top Nosh Foods is a family run operation based in the beautiful Hills District of
Sydney.
Our passion for flavoursome healthy food, which is
practical in a hectic lifestyle inspired the concept of Top
Nosh Foods which combines our love of great
tasting, healthy food, a knowledge of Food Technology and a colourful European background.
Our aim at
Top Nosh Foods
is:

as possible.
Having always lead hectic lifestyles with
early morning starts from 5.30am we needed a breakfast that
tasted great, and gave a feeling of fullness without feeling
bloated.
A breakfast that was quick, easy to prepare and above all
Tasty.
I have a simple belief that life is too short to
compromise on second rate food, so I wanted a gourmet breakfast
cereal to enjoy with my essential cup of coffee that was quick to
prepare and could even be eaten in the office.
Unfortunately, when I looked at what was on offer,
I didn't find what satisfied our criterion.
So we at Top Nosh Foods made it
ourselves to suit a
discerning palate ...
I wanted cereals that had no additives such as
acidity regulators, unnatural sugars, emulsifiers, colours,
humectants, gums, resins, to name but a few.
But I also didn't want a bland ordinary
taste. Quite often, people associate what is good for you as
something that's boring, bland, and in fact tasteless!
And that is how the cereals that
Top Nosh Foods manufacture came
about.
 I wanted products made from natural whole grains.
I wanted barely processed, where the goodness was
maintained.
I wanted fruits with few, if any preservatives and
little, if any, added sugar, or more to the point, I wanted to know
what I was consuming and to have faith that what I read on the label
was in fact what was in the product. I also had to be
able to see real fruits!
I wanted real nuts, not just the promise of
them, with all the essential fatty acids that make them such a
mandatory part of a balanced diet.
Lastly, I wanted variety to spice up the morning
and give me a sense of breakfast anticipation.
We don't throw things together, we blend tastes and
textures and never skimp on the quality of our products as we know how
essential it is to launch into the day having had a pleasurable
breakfast ...
Our cereals & grains ...
Top Nosh Foods currently
present 6 varieties of mueslis and 2 porridges and various grains, which have been tested
and tried to obtain individual and unique great tasting products
which are healthy. They come in 500 gm and
1 kg packets. And we have more cereals in the pipeline!
Each one is totally different to the other in
taste, but the thing they have in common is that we
only use the best quality ingredients. Organic whenever possible.
Quality spelt,
the 'wonder grain,' barley, rye, juicy oats, high protein triticale,
the best of Australian macadamias with all the natural goodness that
they bring - quality organic fruits such as the golden sultanas that
we have sourced for you from Australian farmers. The crunch of slightly roasted
nuts in amongst
fruits such as figs, apricots, flame raisins, berries such as
blackberries, blueberries, red and blackcurrants makes breakfast a pleasure and not
an obligation.
And as all the mueslis produced by
Top Nosh Foods are balanced with
different combinations of fibre,
fruit, nuts, seeds, essential omega 3's & 6's arising from natural
ingredients and not 'added extras' you have a feeling of satiety
after eating your serving - gone are the hunger pangs and the need
to reach for fatty food fixes.
If you follow our recommended serving sizes, you
can walk past any fast food outlet and not have the need for a fast
food fix.
The average cost of a serving of one of
Top Nosh Foods' muesli is
less than $1.50 and you can be assured that you'll have a
pleasant feeling of fullness without the bloat.
Whereas the cost of, say a bacon and egg
muffin will set you back $2.90 and leave you craving more
fatty food. ... And worse still you have to venture out to
the fast food outlet to get it!
Not only that because the fibre, sugars
and natural oils are balanced in our cereals you'll
not encounter the same cravings and mood fluctuations that
you do on a high fat and high sugar diet.
Over time there have been many temptations
to change the way we do things, to outsource or mechanise
our production or to compromise on the high percentage of
REAL wholesome
ingredients we use to make our products. We have
flatly rejected these winds of change and will not
compromise on the quality of our products. Our primary focus
is to produce the highest quality Great Tasting Foods,
which as a given are Healthy for YOU.
We have been asked many times why products
such as our Blackberry & Macadamia Muesli 500gm or our
Spiced Plum & Nut Muesli 500 gm is $12 when there are
other mueslis available for $4 or $5. The answer is in the
quality of the ingredients and the taste!
Once you have tasted our products, there
is no going back to the run of the mill!
To compare with another NSW company, their
High Fibre Muesli contains only 1.2% almonds and 11.2%
sultanas, apricots, pineapple with the remaining quantities
of fruit in the muesli not worthy of mention.
Top Nosh Foods'
Power Crunch, is made up of over 23% fruit
(sultanas, currants, raisins, cranberries, and apricots) and
over 14% of seeds and nuts. Not only that you can
actually see the fruit and nuts and taste them individually
in each bite!
Our Nut Mélanges ...
These are delicious blends of nuts! We
believe that the more natural the better. But what we at
Top Nosh Foods do is
improve on what nature has provided! Whether we blend them
with bush honey or the best of bitter chocolates, our Nut
Mélanges are the BEST on the market ... and it goes without
saying ARE GOOD for you. If you just take the time to read
what each ingredient can do for you, we know that you'll
agree that they are the best there is!
The majority of our competitors have
products that are nice but none of them, in our opinion,
come close to giving you the quality and quantity of
ingredients in each mouthful that we, at
Top Nosh Foods do.
To obtain for YOU the select, high
quality ingredients that you would buy for yourselves (if
you had the time) is costly and to then blend them according
to unique recipes (which otherwise, you would need to do for
yourselves) is time consuming.
But our major point of difference
remains in the unique taste of each mouthful, that you
can be assured will be healthy for you and will give you a
sense of satiety. So that even if you lead a hectic
lifestyle you can take moments for yourself to eat something
pleasurable and to know it will get you through the morning!
We, at Top Nosh
Foods know that after you have tasted our unique
products you will not be able to go back to the run of the
mill but will buy it again and again because we assure high
quality products which in the long run are value for money.
All our muesli cereals are
stuffed full of quality products and produced by hand.
These are not mass made and are not available in Woolies
or Coles ... these quality products are for
discerning people who want to have the best quality
products for
their families and themselves.
